I am so excited and want to share this event with all of you! I am co-hosting a cooking class highlighting plant-based & nourishing dishes using produce from several local farms. The farms tell me what they have in season, I make a menu around it and then we all learn to make easy, delicious and farm-fresh dishes! How cool right? Ever wonder what to do with your farmers market purchases? Well come find out! You can even sip your favorite Kombucha, tea, or wine & beer on tap!
As a public school teacher I know that many people gain so much from hands-on learning and visual learning…so that’s my mission with these classes! The “Wine and Dine” class is a lot like my “Healthy Happy Hour” class but I am partnering up with in.gredients (Austin’s own fresh, local, and zero waste community corner store!!) We will be conducting the class at their location and sure would like to see you there.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or want to come cook and play!
Hi!
My husband and I are interested in the class at ingredients. I was wondering if the food will be mostly vegetarian (the description mentions using produce from local farms but I couldn’t tell if the meals would all be vegetarian or not). If you could let me know, that would be great!

Hi Lisa– I’m helping organize this class and I wanted to let you know that the meal will be vegan/vegetarian and made with local, whole foods. We look forward to cooking with you!
