Fruit: it’s what’s for dessert

Last night I had a hankering for a delectable dessert. I wanted to use whole ingredients and after canvasing ingredients my eyes fell upon a delicious sweet tango apple and a very ripe banana…then this happened:

Step 1: slice apple thin ( save a few fresh pieces for garnish) and place in pan with drizzled honey, cinnamon, a handful of chopped raisins and 2 tbs water. Let cook on simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.

Step 2: Slice banana and place in bowl. With remaining fresh apple, matchstick cut into delicate strips.

Step 3: Drain hot liquid from apples and pour over banana. Top with coconut and sesame seeds.

Step 4: Place cooked apples in another bowl and garnish with fresh apple strips.

Step 5: After eating half of both and feeling very, very pleased; mix the remaining halves together and finish with a smile.

Yes.
